Lossiemouth 10 Mile Turkey Trot 2006

The 2006 Lossiemouth 10 Mile Turkey Trot will be held on the 17th Dec. This event is an extremely popular pre Christmas run will the 2005 event atttracted 125 runners. The route is a fairly flat and fast route around Lossiemouth town before heading out around the perimeter fence of RAF Lossiemouth and finishing at the Community centre. The event will be started by the Station Commander of RAF Lossiemouth at 11:00. Registration will take place between 09:30 and 10:30 and will be held downstairs in the sports hall of the Lossiemouth Community Centre. The cost of the event is £8 for SAL members and £10 for non-SAL members with all profits from the event going to Ladybird Developmental Group a childrens special needs group based in Lossiemouth.

RAF Kinloss to RAF Lossiemouth Half Marathon 2007

The RAF Kinloss to RAF Lossiemouth Half Marathon will take place this year on the 18th Feb 2007. This is an ever popular event with runners coming back year on year, last year event reached the race limit of 250 a week before the race, the 2007 event has an increased race limit of 300, however, WE WILL NOT BE TAKEN ENTRIES ON THE DAY. so be warned and enter early????? Registration will be at Lossiemouth Community Centre between 08.30 and 09.30. With transport leaving for RAF Kinloss at 09.50. The race will start prompt at 11:00 from the main gates of RAF Kinloss the route follows the coast route along to Burghead and then follows the coastal route through Hopeman, past Silversands caravan Park and finishes at RAF Lossiemouth.
